Every night, we cross an invisible threshold between wakefulness and sleep.
Hypnagogia translates that passage into a physical experience: a sensory journey through the phases of rest — from drowsiness to REM — shaped by light, sound, and matter.
From TRAMA, our interpretation of dreams for A Cel Obert, the festival of ephemeral installations in Tortosa.
Veils intertwine, shadows unfold, rhythms slow down. Visitors inhabit the space where thoughts blend with images and the body begins to drift — the in-between territory of sleep.
Through a digital companion platform, visitors could explore scientific, medical, artistic, pop-cultural, and digital-age references connected to each phase of sleep. This online space extended the physical experience, offering a deeper look into the ideas that inspired the work.
